Many of you are looking for something more in your lives. Perhaps God has touched your life by his grace, and you are different, but you know there’s got to be more. No longer satisfied with a comfortable Christian life, you desire to become more fully alive, to know the meaning and purpose of your life.
God longs to lead you to new levels of peace, joy, and power. To restore your soul, heal your wounds and transform you deep inside. He wants to clear away the blockages and lies that are deeply entrenched in your personality.
He desires for you to grow in your confidence and courage. To help you find Christ in you, discover who you are, and fulfill your God-given potential.
For all of these wonderful things to be ours, we must have ongoing direct inner experiences with the Lord Himself. No one can wave a magic wand that will do it all for us. No one! This “stuff” must be worked out from within. There is no other way. We must learn how to go to God, experience Him, and hear His voice. The essence of the New Testament experience is that of being intimately in touch with the Living God, some sort of inner communion or inner experience. God longs for us to experience an awareness of his presence dwelling deep within us.
To move forward on our spiritual journey we must nourish an inward way of knowing God. We must allow the work of the Holy Spirit to be… at the point of the “inner person” and stop trying to keep an external set of laws or change our behavior. Only the inner way will help us become fully alive human beings.
As you seek the face of the Lord daily, your heart longs for something you can’t quite put a finger on. But it’s real. Is it ever. You can feel it, you know there’s more, but you’re not sure how to find it.
You did not land on our blog by accident. You’ve been guided by an invisible hand, a Divine hand, that knows your longing to know him better.
You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy (Psalms 16:11).
