November Update

In our 12th week since the accident, we are moving the hospital bed out and reclaiming the space for our computers, etc..  I am learning to accept the entire situation, including my disfigured leg, and am moving forward into my new world. No broken bones, muscles are intact, with the help of physical therapy I can stand, walk, and am growing in confidence in my ability to navigate this new reality.

Yesterday, I watched a man on crutches, with only one leg (and it was bandaged), cross the street in front of us. I thought to myself, “God must have arranged this moment. I need to understand what He spared me from. And I need to accept my disfigured leg, because I can easily walk on it.”

So we are beginning to look to our future and the ministry God has called us to. I am still planning on teaching a course on Zoom in how to minister inner healing (healing life’s wounds). If you are interested in taking this e-course send me an email.

Prayer requests: healing & recovery from side effects of meds and anesthetic. I am slowly coming off the last med, Lyrica, which especially affects the nervous system. Please also pray for healing from the trauma of the accident, nine surgeries, the wounds, and the long recovery process. Jerry has taken great care of me, running our house, shopping, laundry, etc. Please include him in your prayers.

Blessings and love,

Judith

  1. Thanks for the Nov. update. Wow grateful you can easily walk on your leg. I’ll copy and paste your list of prayer requests so I send b specific. God bless you both. I’m a caregiver so I can relate to what Gerald had to do for you.
    I love you.
